STEVEN FRIEDMANN SUPPORTS CAMPAIGN TO END DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
Steven Friedmann, Executive Vice President at Friedmann & Friedmann Insurance Services, is supporting Human Options’ “100 Men, 1 Voice, 1 Campaign” for the eighth straight year. The Campaign aims to inspire men to speak out against domestic violence; it has raised nearly a half-million dollars since its inception in 2003..<br/> <br/>Human Options, based in Irvine, California, offers emergency, preventative, and healing services including a 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter; counseling, and legal advocacy. Community outreach programs for youth and seniors are focused on parenting, batterer intervention and elder abuse.

FRIEDMANN & FRIEDMANN PLEDGES SUPPORT TO LAURA’S HOUSE
In support of a month-long education and awareness campaign launched by Laura’s House to “end the silence of domestic violence,” Friedmann & Friedmann has pledged to match dollar-for-dollar, up to $10,000, donations made to the organization during the month of October. Funds raised will be used by Laura’s House to provide much needed programs and services to families who are fleeing violent homes.<br/> <br/> Laura’s House, in Ladera Ranch, California, is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to change the social beliefs, attitudes and behaviors that perpetuate domestic violence while creating a safe place in which to empower individuals and families affected by abuse. It provides residential shelter services to more than 200 women and children, counseling to more than 300 clients, legal services to more than 300 clients and assists with more than 1,700 crisis hotline calls.
